North America is a vast and varied region that ranges from the Arctic Circle in the north to the Caribbean Sea and Mexico in the south and from the Atlantic Ocean on the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west. North America has a holiday destination for all ages and tastes.

USA - A fantastic holiday destination with absolutely something for everyone!  Visit the bright lights of world famous cities such as New York, Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, to name just a few, where the sights, shopping and nightlife will leave very little time for sleep.  New York, famously known as The Big Apple and symbolised by the famous Statue of Liberty has long been the gateway to America. New Orleans is home of the colourful world famous Mardi Gras, Washington DC, capital of the USA and where you will find the White House and many more historic monuments including the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

The sunshine state of Florida offers you the thrills and spills of the huge theme parks they are famous for whilst on its coast you will find beautiful white sandy beaches.  Other great places not to miss in Florida are Miami, the Keys and the Kennedy Space Centre.

Over on the west coast you'll find the city by the bay, San Francisco, home of the famous Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf, exciting Los Angeles, home to Hollywood and the stars whilst Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world and the nearby Grand Canyon have to be seen to be believed!

Canada - Canadian jewels include their cities - cosmopolitan Toronto, Montreal, the largest city in Quebec and Vancouver, a city surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and the sparkling Pacific Ocean.  Take a trip of a lifetime onboard the famous Rocky Mountaineer for a 2 day rail journey through Canada's West and Canadian Rockies.  Witness the spectacular Niagara Falls thundering 34 million gallons of water per minute is Canada's most visited natural attraction.

Although Whistler is rated North America's number one ski resort it is also a natural year-round playground with crisp mountain air, crystal-clear lakes and lush, green forests.  During the summer there are over 45 hiking trails on the mountain, some of which are gentle and others more challenging. For ski enthusiasts in the winter months the two mountains - Whistler & Blackcomb - offers one mile of vertical (5,280') on over 100 marked runs.

All highlights of this amazing destination are too numerous to list, however other 'must sees' and 'must dos' include a visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, a drive along the famous route 66, see the colours of the autumn foliage in New England, explore one of the National Parks like Yosemite or Yellowstone, walk on a permanent glacier in the Canadian Rockies, go whale spotting among the Vancouver Islands or enjoy a cruise to Alaska.

So whether you want to visit Elvis’s home in Memphis Tennessee, play cowboy and indians in the Arizona desert, win your fortune in one of Las Vegas’s numerous glitzy casinos, enjoy some world class ski resorts, explore one of the many cities or even just laze by the beach North America has something for everyone
